It all began in the creative minds of kids, our internal instinct to explore the world around us and the intristic nature for us to want to find out more. Today, kids are bombarded with influences, TV, video games and sometimes an over abundance of homework. Well I wanted to find a way to make the world of learning a fun place to be.
My kids ask me questions, inquire and want to know more, so why not have a little fun and encouragement along the way. Besides we may as well be spending our life doing quality things together, instead of wasting away in front of a TV.
My daughter who is now 8, loves to distract herself from her homework (sound familiar to anyone?) but she still loves learning, she just wants to do it in a different way, than all on paper. So, I have devised a plan. Hoping to encourage her love of learning and exploring her world in new ways. Just little tid-bits of information at a time. ( We'll work in a little of that icky homework type stuff too, shh, don't tell her)
I have been thinking why not share with others our exploring ideas to experience the world through a child's eyes. (What we all wish we could do, take a step back in time and hold onto those moments, when exploring a new world was so much fun!)
We'll fill up this blog with exciting adventures, and invite you to participate or share your adventures with us too. Come explore the world with us!
